Marit has 115,000 clinician jobs and 36,000 shared salaries, the best compensation data in medicine, sitting on a different tab from the jobs themselves. A doctor looks at a job paying $450,000 and has no way to know if that's good.
So I built what it looks like when they do talk.
Today, about 30% of doctors share their salary. Integrating salary into every job lets a doctor give theirs in exchange for seeing where they stand. Making that the doctor's idea instead of a cold ask could easily push past 50%. That's 24,000 more salaries.

The more a doctor tells us while they search, the more of sign-up we can fill in for them. Fewer questions to answer at the door means fewer abandons.
1.1Ask for the salary where it matters.
Today Marit asks for your salary at sign-up, or in a separate Salaries tab. This prototype asks for it right on the job, the moment you're comparing pay. Type your number, then check one box to share it anonymously. We can only show what psychiatrists like you make because other psychiatrists are sick of being blind too.

The board asks at the moment it pays off, not as a gate to get through. A doctor marks a job or gives a salary because it helps them right then, and that willingness is what fills in sign-up later. Fewer people quit partway, and the rest feels shorter.

2.1What you make. What this job pays. Where you'd stand if you took it.
Show a doctor up front what they stand to gain or lose and where they land among their peers, and you've given them ammunition to negotiate, and a reason to hand over their salary and consent so that power stays in their corner.

Each job puts the money right in front of them: the chart, where they stand, the gap. It's only a matter of time before they want to see how they stack up, and we grab the anonymous opt-in right then and there.

It weighs what matters to you, what works and what doesn't, the job you have now, and what this one offers. And it's live: every pro and con you mark moves the score, so at a glance you see which jobs are pulling ahead.

Save it, park it if you're not sure, or pass. Each one collapses the job into a small stub you can reopen with a tap. As they collapse, the board shrinks down to only the jobs you haven't gotten to yet.
